Had a chance to shoot Blessid Union of Souls the other week. They are out with a new album and are making small appearances to spread the word. They put on a good 2hr show playing some new fancy tunes as well as their Hits that put them on the map. Check them out if you have a chance.

These guys laid down some serious work Friday evening. They covered Metallica's "Orion" which was quite the task. It's always cool to see songs redone on acoustic guitar.

Silas' 1st Time Swimming!!!

Happy Memorial Day! It's a beautiful day out...great for swimming too. Silas wasn't too thrilled with the chilly water at first, but then he was crawling in and out of the pool and splashing up a storm. It was fun to watch him splash dad and smile from ear to ear.

So, we took these photos of baby Ulara last year...maybe March. I remember being very pregnant while taking them. She is so little and sweet and is well over a year old now. The shoot was quite an adventure involving pee, poo, and a little puke. It all comes with the territory I guess. haha

Well, we have been absolutely terrible at posting on our blog for a long time. We shot Cassandra and Todd engagement photos back in October, and just shot their wedding last weekend. Since we have over 4000 photos to sort through for their wedding, I figured I would at least post a few of their engagement photos to commemorate the wedding. Our First Year Being Parents

Well, this year has been totally nuts for us. We became new parents on 4.3.2011 to our son Silas, and it has been an adventure. We have not done much photo work this year since we have lost a fair amount of sleep, and have been working opposite shifts to avoid day care. With a new year comes new challenges. I hope as the new year rolls around we will be blessed to serve more people with our talents. Mary really wants to do more and more family and senior photos and Jon would love to start doing more band photography and design work. Contact us for any work. We would love to hear from you. The Hare Family

Mary got the opportunity to take some photos of the Hare family last week. They were very fun, and so far the photos are turning out to be very cute. The mosquitoes were terrible, but we still managed to have fun and get some cool photos. I will post more soon when I get a chance.

Our New Baby Boy Silas David Lessing!

Well,, after 8 months, we finally met our new baby boy. Silas David Lessing was born on 4/3/2010 at 4:57 pm. He was 5lbs 12oz and 19 in long. He was small but healthy! He is now a month old and growing fine. His days and nights are starting to get sorted out, and we a learning what it is to be parents. He is a huge blessing!

Hey! We haven't posted in a while, but I found these senior photos that I love. Geoff is a country boy who wanted to take photos out at a cabin in the woods. We had lots of fun, and loved meeting and working with yet another family member from the Lance family. It's funny to see how different brothers and sisters from the same family can really be!

We recently updated a few of our lenses and I finally got a macro! I was just testing out my lens and got a few shots that I liked. I even got a couple cute ones of my dog, which is nearly impossible! I am very excited for our first wedding in a few weeks. I will be harassing friends and family with my camera until then.

Jon is still in the process of finalizing this art with the band, but I was excited about it, so I am posting. The top photo is the inside of the cd cover. The white part is the underlay for where the cd would clip into the case. The bottom photo is the outside of the cd cover. I think this design is pretty sweet. It's for a hardcore band from the Cinncinati, OH area. They are called The Beneath...pretty sweet stuff.

We photographed a wedding this weekend that was loads of fun. With the bride's coming from a big family (7 kids in all!) it was more calm than you might think. Stephanie was one on the calmest brides I have ever seen. We had a lot of laughs with them. Congrats guys!
